N i d r a leans into sustained sound: slowly developing drones, layered ambient textures, and arrangements that give each change plenty of room
I put this selection together with yoga, meditation, and quiet rest in mind. The focus is on music that can accompany those moments while still offering something to explore when you listen more closely.
Where I n t e n t i o n emphasizes acoustic textures, N i d r a gives more space to continuous soundscapes and extended instrumental passages. That distinction helps me decide where a recording feels most at home.
I don’t reset the playlist every week. Once added, a track can stay for months when it continues to work within the selection.
That’s a personal approach, not a promise about streams or placement length. I like the continuity of returning to familiar recordings while gradually introducing new ones.
A piece might become part of your regular listening, or a small detail might catch your attention after several visits. I want to leave time for those connections rather than replace music just to keep an update schedule.
I review submissions myself, paying attention to pacing, texture, and how a recording moves from one passage to the next.
My preference is for drone-based ambient, minimal meditation music, and slowly evolving soundscapes. I’m interested in pieces that develop without relying on frequent changes, but that doesn’t mean every recording needs to sound alike.
A particular tone, an acoustic detail, or a restrained melodic phrase can give a piece its identity. I’m listening for that character as well as its fit with the surrounding music.
The playlist includes collaborations with Tranquil Mind Escapes alongside my own ambient works, including Becoming and A Higher Resonance, from Fields of Light. Each selection reflects music I enjoy and think the audience will appreciate.
If there’s a recording you keep returning to, save the track and explore the artist’s other releases. Sharing the playlist with someone who enjoys ambient music for yoga or meditation is welcome too.
Helping those discoveries become ongoing listening is a big reason I curate. I hope the selection introduces you to music you’ll continue exploring beyond the playlist.

If you make deep ambient, sustained drones, or minimal instrumental music suited to yoga and meditation settings, I’d love to hear it.
Send a released track and a short note about the fit. I listen for the playlist’s sound and flow, so not every submission will make it in—but I appreciate you sharing your work.
Listening, saving, and sharing all help support the music featured here. If you’d also like to support my own music and the time I spend curating, you can use the Buy Me a Coffee widget.
There’s no obligation, and support never influences placement.
