Curated Music Playlists: A Soundtrack for Chill Moments

Sometimes I want a beat to work alongside. Other times, I’d rather hear a sustained drone, a few piano notes, or an acoustic recording with plenty of space.

Frequency-Focused Selections

This group brings together acoustic meditation music and collections organized around frequency designations. The sounds overlap in places, but each playlist has its own focus.

4 3 2 H z

Ambient and meditation releases presented by their artists as 432 Hz music, including recordings from Abe Hathot alongside my own releases Passing Moments and Gold Sky.

The frequency designation sets the focus, while the selections reflect my preference for spacious arrangements, sustained textures, and gentle melodic movement.

5 2 8 H z

A selection of releases presented as 528 Hz music, ranging from sustained tones to layered ambient compositions.

You’ll hear J.S. Epperson and Theta Aum alongside my own recordings, including Unconditional and Cosmic Float. As with 4 3 2 H z, the frequency focus organizes the collection rather than promises a particular health or listening outcome.

Ambient, Drone & Gentle Soundscapes

These selections move away from beat-driven music and toward texture, sustained sound, and gradual changes. Each takes a different direction, from detailed ambient listening to music selected with meditation or winding down in mind.

A m b i e n t T o n e s

Slowly shifting drones, minimal electronics, and melodic soundscapes, featuring artists including Matt Tondut, Hilyard, and Abstract Aprils.

Some pieces use only a few elements; others build fuller layers. Start here if you enjoy following small changes in tone and texture.

N i d r a

Continuous drones, extended instrumental passages, and slowly developing ambient layers, selected with yoga, meditation, and quiet rest in mind.

The playlist includes collaborations with Tranquil Mind Escapes alongside my own works, including Becoming and A Higher Resonance. The emphasis is on sustained sound rather than pronounced rhythms.

R e s t o r e

The quieter end of the collection: soft drones, sparse piano, slowly unfolding soundscapes, and occasional natural textures.

Abstract Aprils and Kuzinmuzin feature alongside my own work, including Surrender to the Flow. I put this selection together for winding down and bedtime listening, without making promises about sleep.

I n t e n t i o n

Singing bowls, flute, chimes, and spacious arrangements give this selection its acoustic emphasis. East Forest, Jane Winther, and Mirabai Ceiba are among the featured artists.

Some recordings let those instruments stand on their own; others combine them with electronic textures. Try this playlist for intentional practice, meditation, or quiet reflection.

Lofi Hip-Hop & Jazz-Hop

Relaxed drums, warm samples, and instrumental beats connect these playlists. The difference is in the emphasis: C h i l l o u t leans into the groove, while N o s t a l g i a puts more focus on melody and a reflective mood.

C h i l l o u t

Instrumental lofi hip-hop with textured samples, relaxed rhythms, and jazz-influenced arrangements. Mujo, Moderator, and Oilix are among the producers featured.

This is where I’d start when you want a beat alongside reading, work, or an unhurried afternoon.

Try this selection when you’re in the mood for a reflective instrumental, whether you’re journaling, working on something creative, or simply listening.

Curated by Hand, Updated Gradually

These playlists follow the same personal approach. I listen to submissions myself and choose music I enjoy, think the audience will appreciate, and feel belongs within a particular selection.

There’s no weekly reset. A track can stay for months when it continues to fit, though placement length and streams are never guaranteed.

I like giving music time to become familiar. I also want each playlist to remain distinct, so a recording that suits one collection won’t necessarily belong in another.

Save the Tracks You Want to Hear Again

If you discover something you enjoy, save the individual track, visit the artist’s profile, or explore the release it comes from.

Sharing a favorite with someone else is welcome too. Helping listeners connect with artists they’ll keep following is a big reason I maintain these playlists. I hope the selections lead to listening beyond the playlist itself.

Submit Your Music

If you make music that fits one of these selections, I’d love to hear it.

Send a released track and a short note about which playlist you have in mind. I listen for the sound and flow of each collection, so not every submission will make it in—but I appreciate you sharing your work.
